Hiring Bus Drivers

Mayor Transportation is seeking CDL drivers to work in Jersey City, Bergen County, and/or Essex County. Work availability for part-time and full-time positions around 5-10 hours a day, Monday thru Friday, 5 days a week. Northern New Jersey Area. Please call us for further information. REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVERS:

  • Must speak English

  • Must have a valid CDL license with P and/or S endorsements

  • Must have a valid physical and medical

  • Must agree to randomized drug testing policy

  • Must have fingerprints for driving position and a criminal background history check

  • Pay can be discussed, the better a driver you are/more work you can handle, the higher your pay

**WE WILL NOT HIRE ANY TYPE OF DRIVERS THAT DO NOT HAVE A CDL LICENSE WITH SPECIFICALLY P & S ENDORSEMENTS**

Hiring Diesel Mechanics

Our shop currently consists of full-time and part-time mechanics. We are looking to add another mechanic to the team, Monday thru Friday, 5 days a week. Please call us for further information. Mechanic pay starts at $40/hr. For immediate response please call at 201-994-9193!

REQUIREMENTS FOR MECHANICS:

  • 3-5 years minimum experience repairing 16 and 54 passenger diesel school buses

  • CDL license and know how to operate school bus vehicles as well as parking them

  • Electrical Engineering background would be a great salary benefit!

Hiring Bus Cleaners and Fuelers

Part-Time and Full-Time positions available. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Newark terminal’s bus fleet, moving buses on company property, and fueling buses daily.
